Follow instructions below to operate Genset
Check circuit breaker

Make sure the circuit breaker is in the ON position.

Connect power plug

Connect power plug to reefer or tank.

Power the Genset controller

Use the main switch to power the Genset controller ON and OFF. The main switch also has to be used to power the Genset and its controller OFF. If not used, the controller will go into STANDBY after 60 minutes. If this happens, turn the switch into its OFF position and then ON to start the controller.

Starting the Genset

The genset can be started if there are no errors and the state of the genset is OFF. Press the START button to start the genset. The genset will preheat automatically based on the outside temperature. If the start process succeeds the status ring turns green and indicates the state RUNNING.

Turn on reefer or tank

Let genset run for 5 minutes before starting the reefer or tank.

Some reefer units have a “GENSET MODE” please check if the reefer can be put into this mode!

Stopping the Genset

The Genset can be stopped by pressing button (STOP) while the Genset is RUNNING. Another option is to use the main switch. When using the main switch, the engine and the genset controller are turned off.

Starting Fuel Pump

The fuel option makes it possible to operate the fuel pump. If button (FUEL) is pressed, the fuel pump will be on and will pump fuel through the system. The text FUEL is red while the fuel pump is on. Press button (FUEL) again to turn off the fuel pump. This option can be useful when the Genset has completely run out of fuel and new fuel is added to the Genset. Or when the genset has not been used for a while.
